Guests at northeast Nebraska state park areas were treated to some improvements in 2023, with more set to be completed in 2024. The following is a roundup of those improvements and projects: Ponca State Park — Guests at Ponca State Park’s Resource and Education Center are enjoying their visit in comfort after the installation of a new HVAC system was completed at a cost of $11,600. Also, building exteriors were upgraded in the North Addition at a cost of $5,000.
