St. Mary’s students present spring musical

OSMOND – Preschool through eighth grade students at St. Mary’s Catholic School presented their spring musical on Monday, May 6, at 7 p.m. The name of their musical was “The Sailor’s Bible.”

OSMOND — Preschool through eighth grade students at St. Mary’s Catholic School presented their spring musical on Monday, May 6, at 7 p.m. The name of their musical was “The Sailor’s Bible.”

Members of the 3-year-old preschool sang “Noah’s Song,” Mr. Golden Sun” and “Rainbow Song.”

The prekindergarten through third grade sang “His Love Never Ends,” followed by the K-8 singing “The Forty Minute Tour.”

Students then presented “The Story of Noah and the Great Flood.” Grades 4-8 sang “Do What You Gotta Do.”

Neighbors were grades 7-8 and Noah’s family were grades 5-6.

The prekindergarten through third grade sang two songs, “Rise And Shine” and “God Keeps His Promises.”

Next was “The Story of Jonah and the Great Fish." The fifth through eighth grade sang “No Way, Not Me.”

Emmett Hoffman, playing the part of Jonah, sang “Jonah’s Prayer.” The fifth through eighth graders then sang “Nineveh Repents.”

“The Story of Paul’s Shipwreck” was next. Grades 5-8 sang “Good News,” “Paul’s Shipwreck” and “Good News.”

Aiden Stech played the part of Paul, while Kendra Gardner and Klaire Stech played angels.

Students in each of the grades also played numerous other characters in the plays.
