OSMOND - The first filing deadline for political office is close at hand. The deadline for incumbent filings is Feb. 15 while the final date for non-incumbents is March 1. If an office holder plans to file for a different office, the deadline for them is still Feb. 15.
Locally, the terms of City Council members Dennis Haselhorst and Doug Schmit, as well as Mayor Dennis Kuhl, expire this year. District 42R School Board members whose terms expire are Mark Moes, Larry Krohn and Michelle Reikofski.
