PIERCE — A number of competitions were held during the Pierce County Fair, which took place July 24-28. They included team roping, pedal pull, demolition derby, donkey polo, Double S Extreme bull riding and bull fighting. The winners are listed here.
DEMOLITION DERBY

TEAM ROPING
Team roping was held Wednesday, July 24, at 5 p.m. with eight teams in the adult division. The pedal pull was held on Sunday, July 28, at 12 noon. The donkey polo games were held Saturday afternoon, July 27, at 4 p.m. in front of the grandstand. There were eight teams, as well as a team of Pierce County Fair Board members.
Winning the competition was the team of Drayden Gossman, Jackson Fischer, Bergin Gossman and Dalton Ritterhaus. In second place was the Plainview FFA team: Corben Kment, Braeden Kment, Justin Koch and Ethan Nordby.
BULL RIDING/FIGHTING The Double S Extreme Bull Riding was held on Saturday, July 27, and the Bull Fighting on Sunday, July 28.
In the bull riding, Sage Vance of Lincoln was the winner. In the junior bull riding competition, Evan Tamley came out on top, while in the barrel racing, Bre Millard was the winner.
In the bull fighting competition, Col Pfister won. In the junior bull riding that evening, Evan Tamley won, and the winner of the barrel racing that night was Ashely Boswell.
