Immanuel Lutheran Church
As we enter the peak of the harvest season, the dry and windy conditions present significant challenges for our farming community. With crops ready to be gathered, it is vital to remember the power of prayer in times like these.
We ask for God’s protection over our farmers, their families, and the land that sustains us. Let us also offer our deepest gratitude to the brave firefighters who put their lives on the line, working tirelessly to prevent and control fires that can quickly spread in these conditions. Their courage is a true blessing to our community.
May we unite in prayer for safety, calm weather, and successful harvests, remembering that in all things, God is our provider and protector.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before You in this dry and windy season, asking for Your hand of protection over our farmers, their crops, and their families. Watch over our firefighters as they bravely guard our community from harm. Give us peace in our hearts, strength in our hands, and trust in Your will. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Scripture: “The Lord will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” — Psalm 121:7-8
