LINCOLN — All layers in Nebraska during October 2024 totaled 8.60 million, up from 8.13 million the previous year, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.
Nebraska egg production during October totaled 218 million eggs, up from 207 million in 2023. October egg production per 100 layers was 2,534 eggs, compared to 2,549 eggs in 2023.
