Christmas Cookies ¼ C. Crisco ¼ C. butter ¼ C. brown sugar 1 egg yolk ½ tsp. vanilla 1 C. flour
¼ tsp. salt 1 egg white, beaten (for rolling cookie in) ¾ C. chopped nuts Mix Crisco, butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Add flour and salt. Roll into balls. Dip balls into beaten egg white, then roll in chopped nuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 5 minutes. Put thumb print in middle of cookies and bake another 6-8 minutes.
