HARTINGTON —The Osmond speech team began their season plac- ing fifth overall at the recent Harting ton speech invitational.
In the varsity championship finals, Erin Wagner was second in informative speaking; Jade Halsey, third in informative speaking; Ava Reikofski, third in extemporaneous; Erica Heiman, fifth in program oral interpretation (POI); James Doyle, sixth in humorous prose; Erica Heiman, Erin Wagner, James Doyle, Jack Berg and Erin Aschoff, sixth in oral interpretation of drama (OID).
In the varsity honor finals, Jack Berg was first in humorous; Ava Reikofski, second in persuasive; Meagan Wagner, sixth in serious prose; Matthew Alderson, sixth in poetry and fourth in extemporaneous; Julianna Kumm, sixth in POI; Meagan Wagner, Jade Halsey, Kaleigh Miller, Piper Hoffman and Donovan Heiman, second in OID.
In the junior varsity finals, Piper Hoffman was first in informative
speaking and Donovan Heiman was fifth in entertainment.
