Many farmers in the area could be seen out in their fields lately as the planting season has begun.
Pictured above are two who were seen northwest of Osmond Monday evening, with the top photo Jake Bahr and the bottom planter on the Steve Kumm farm. A little rain passed through that evening, but enough to really slow anyone down too much. Tuesday's and Wednesday's forecasts were for temperatures hovering around 70 degrees, but on Thursday, it will drop down into the upper 50s with another chance of rain. The highs will bounce back into the 60s and 70s in the days following, but with more chances of rain through the weekend.
