OMAHA – Osmond Community Schools is one of two recipients of the 2024-25 NebraskARTS ward. Osmond Community Schools, along with O’Neill Public Schools, was selected by a committee of arts educators from across the state. The award is sponsored by Nebraskans for the Arts.
This award recognizes schools and/or school districts that make a notable and worthwhile contribution to the arts and arts education in the state of Nebraska. Recent NebraskARTSAward recipients include Bridgeport, Kenesaw, Sheridan Elementary in Lincoln, Schuyler Community Schools, Seward Public Schools, Kearney High School, Ravenna Public Schools, HyannisArea Schools, Lincoln High School, Westside High School and York Public Schools.
Award Ceremony is May 2
Osmond Community School will receive the 2025 NebraskARTS Award on Friday, May 2, at 6 p.m. in the school gym. The event will feature the school’s fine arts programs, with a presentation, concert, and art show highlighting the school’s outstanding work in arts education. The speaker(s) will be a Nebras- kans for the Arts board representative and coaches of each of Osmond's fine arts programs.
