Tigers play in Lewis & Clark conference golf tourney
SOUTH SIOUX CITY — The 2025 Lewis and Clark conference golf tournament was played Monday, May 5, at the Covington Links golf course in South Sioux City. Only eight teams remain that have golf programs in the conference but scores were really low on this relatively difficult course with nine players breaking 80.
Kooper Gubbels was low player for the Tigers with rounds of 45-45 for a 90 total, and finished in 17th place. Freshman Dawson Gansebom continues to improve his game with rounds of 52-61 for a 113 total, which is his best
round of the season. Meagan and Erin Wagner were the only two young ladies in the field and shot 122 and 130, respectively.
Creighton won the team title followed by Wausa, and Wausa had the individual champ in Jake Munter.
