SOUTH SIOUX CITY — On Monday, May 5, the Osmond High School golf team participated in the conference meet played at Covington Links in South Sioux City hosted by Homer High School. The course, nestled along the Missouri River, proved to be very challenging.
Kooper Gubbels was low scorer for the squad with a 90, which placed him 17th overall. Dawson Gansebom was steady at 113. Meagan and Erin Wagner braved the lengthy course with rounds of 122 and 130 Niobrara Invite
Next on the slate was the Niobrara invitational on Wednesday, May 7, played at the Niobrara golf course.
Kooper was sharp on the front side, shooting a 41, and survived a couple tough holes on the back to shoot 45 and finish in the medal group with an 86. Meagan was steady the entire round, shooting a 110. Dawson was close behind with a 117.
Randolph Invite
Osmond finished the three meet swing playing in the Randolph Invite on Monday, May 12. Dawson was low man for the locals, shooting 113, followed by Meagan at 113 and Erin at 121.
The Tigers have two major meets remaining and then district play.
