Angel Food Biscuits 2 C flour
2 rounded tsp. baking powder ½ tsp. salt 2 heaping Tbl. shortening 2 C sour milk ½ tsp. soda Put first 3 dry ingredients in bowl and make a nest in the middle. Put in the shortening and half of the milk and stir until mixed, cdrawing in the flour a little at a time as you stir. In the remaining ½ bup of sour milk, put ½ tsp. soda. Stir well. Add this to the mixture in the bowl and stir as quickly as possible. Roll, cut and bake in not too hot an oven.
