(By Jarrod McCartney for Nebraska Community Fund) My hometown of Red Cloud recently celebrated a massive milestone: after years of dreaming and planning and nailing down the details on the revitalization of a historic building, community members gathered downtown to cut the ribbon on Hotel Garber, a 27-room boutique hotel in the heart of downtown. As I reflected on that shared achievement, I realized we had added another chapter in a new, homegrown Greater Nebraska story.
