OSMOND - Five first grade students of St. Mary's Catholic School made their first communion during Mass at St. Mary of the Seven Dolors on Sunday, April 27, with Father Owen Korte officiating. The students are Berkley Rae Aschoff, daughter of Nolan and Alli Aschoff; Xavier Marcus Morfeld, son of Marcus and Sarah Morfeld; Lynkn John Rice, son of Adam and Tiffany Rice; Henley Marie Schoenauer, daughter of David and Sara Schoenauer, and Olivia Marie Schramm, daughter of Kris and Morgan Schramm.
Greeters during Mass were Reagan Schieffer, Remi Schieffer, Merrick Aschoff and Kyzr Rice, and lector was Elizabeth Gubbels. Gift bearers were Kally Hodson, Kendall Weber, Xavier Morfeld and Lynkn Rice, and Catechists were Amanda Schieffer, Paige Goetzinger, and Erica Schmidt. Bentley Frank, Axyl Rice and Raelynn Schieffer were the servers. Communion ministers were Tiffany Rice, Keely Gubbels and Alan Ekberg.
Melissa Lind accompanied the hymns “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today, “Ye Sons And Daughters,” “Bread Of Angels” and “Alleluia! Alleluia! Let The Holy Anthem Rise” on the organ.
