This tree on Logan Street fell after some of the high winds that hit the area last week. The owner — Jerry — said it broke the windshield of his vehicle, but he wasn’t too concerned about it, and said he would do the work himself to get the tree cleared away. Early this week, the area received some much-needed rain, with about 1.45 inches of rain falling here. But it also brought with it cooler temperatures, with a high of only 50 on Tuesday and lower 60s predicted for the rest of the week and through the Memorial Day weekend, and another chance of rain on Friday and Saturday.
