NORFOLK — The 2025 Northeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball Games will be held Friday, May 30, at the Northeast Community College Cox Activities Center, with the girls’ game scheduled for 6 p.m. And the boys’ game at 8 p.m.
Two boys’ teams and two girls’ teams have been selected to represent their schools and communities in this 42nd annual event.
Girls’ coaches for this game are: Maggie Moon of Crofton and Jason Dolliver of Pender for the Light Team, and Randy Eisenhauer of Elgin Public/ Pope John and Scott Guzinski of Oakland-Craig for the Dark Team.
Boys’ coaches are: Lee Heimes of Wynot and Gary Eisenhauer of Bloom- field in charge of the Light Team, and Brett Kaczor of Summerland and Ryon Nilson of Creighton in charge of the Dark Team.
Chosen as a member of the girls’ Light Team was Sophia Gansebom of Osmond, a 5 ft., 8-in. graduating senior.
Other girls playing on the Light Team with Sophia are Maya Dolliver of Pencer, Jaida Allen of Crofton, Claire Korth of Humphrey, Lexi Wiebelhaus of Crofton, Lydia Robertson of Summerland, Isabel Preister of Archangels Catholic, Campbell Snodgrass of West Point-Beemer, Skylar Indra of Norfolk and Olivia Hupp of Stanton.
Admission for the game is $7 for adults, $5 for entering grades K-12, and Pre-K free.
