Nominations are being accepted for the 2025 Hall of Fame Award for the Pierce County Agricultural Society.
Rules for the award provide that nominations can be made for individuals, couples, families, organizations, or business firms within the boundaries of Pierce County who have provided outstanding service to the cause of the Pierce County Fair, now, or in the past.
The Hall of Fame Committee and Pierce County Agricultural Society Executive Board reviews all nominations and selects a nominee for the Hall of Fame Award. Only one recipient is selected each year. Selection is kept secret and then announced at the 2025 Pierce County Fair awards ceremony.
In the event of the nomination of a deceased person, the rules indicate the nomination must be made for consideration no later than the second fair, following the death of the individual.
Nominations should be sent to Hall of Fame Committee members: Larry Foster, Plainview; Scott Fritz, Plainview; Nick Schroth, Plainview, by Wednesday, July 9.
