Chrome & Smoke Truck Show to provide weekend of fun
OSMOND — The Chrome & Smoke Truck Show is once again coming to Osmond. A huge lineup of trucks will be here this weekend, beginning on Friday, June 27, and continuing through Sunday, June 29. With this event, there will also be other activities, most of which will be held at the Osmond ballfields.
Beginning Friday, food vendors will be available beginning at 3 p.m. for those who go to view the many and various types of semis on display. Also on Friday, Kimberly Meyer will be on stage to provide entertainment beginning at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the food vendors will be open beginning at 7 a.m. Kids activities will be available beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing through 4 p.m. The Dave Merkel Band will be on stage from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
At 6 p.m., an auction and raffle will be held, and the Happy Endings Band will be on stage from 8 p.m. to midnight. A light show will take place at 9:45 p.m., followed by the Split the Pot at 10 p.m.
Following the firemen's pancake feed in the morning, things will wind down with a parade on State Street beginning at 1 p.m.
