Members of the All-Stars 4-H Club paint pavers as a project for the Pierce County Fair

OSMOND — The Osmond All-Stars 4-H Club met on Thursday, June 12, at 3 p.m. at Poolside Park. We started this meeting by picking up some sticks in the park. Then we painted garden pavers as a project to enter in the fair.

On Tuesday, June 24, we had a quick meeting at Osmond Community School where Mrs. Marks and Mrs. Morfeld helped members enter their projects for the Pierce County Fair.

The Pierce County Fair will be held July 23-27 in Pierce. Four-H members will enter their projects on Wednesday, July 23. Our club encourages the community to attend the fair and see all the projects our members have been working hard on this summer.

Osmond All-Stars 4-H members include Delilah Koehler, Sierra Koehler, Spencer Koehler, Amberlin Marks, Henley Marks, Beckett Marks, Xavier Morfeld and Dillon Melcher.

Osmond All-Stars Clover Buds include Scarlett Marks, Hayley Melcher, Isaac Melcher, Asher Dickey, Eli Dickey, Beau Bahr and Claire Bahr. Several of our members are also showing animals at the fair.

On Thursday, July 24, at 9 a.m. is the 4-H beef showmanship contest, followed by the 4-H breeding beef show where Amberlin, Henley, Beckett and Xavier will participate.

Saturday, July 26, Sierra Koehler will show her chicken at the poultry show at 8:30 a.m. Also on Saturday is the 4-H bucket calf/Clover Bud show, followed by the Huwaldt calf show at 10:30 a.m. with Amberlin, Henley, Beckett, Scarlett and Xavier participating. — Xavier Morfeld, News Reporter
