PIERCE — The 2025 Pierce County Fair will be held Wednesday, July 23, through Sunday, July 27.
River City Carnival will be returning this year with rides, food, games and ride armbands available.
The Pierce County Fair Board is bringing back the events that residents enjoy, with a new event as well.
Opening Day
Wednesday is entry day, so make plans now to see all the 4-H shows and plan what to enter in open class. Anyone can enter in open class. Team roping will be held at 5 p.m. and it is still a free night.
Thursday Lineup
On Thursday morning, there will be a free omelet breakfast sponsored by Michael Foods, followed by numerous 4-H shows, including companion animal, beef, cat and dog.
Thursday evening is the Outlaw Truck and Tractor pull with six tractor classes.
Friday Schedule
On Friday morning, enjoy a free breakfast sponsored by Farmers Pride.
That evening, the Hall of Fame, Pioneer and Outstanding Individual Awards will be held in the pavilion at 6 p.m.
The Demolition Derby is on a new night this year, and will include Mini Vans, Limited Weld, Bonestock, Bonestock compacts and mini-van classes. It will be officiated by CS Promotions.
Get the kids, age 4-10, involved with their power wheels! They will have an opportunity during the derby intermission for their own heat. In addition, there will also be a Youth Bonestock class.
Performing in the beer garden on Friday night will be Kimberly Meyer.
Activities on Saturday
Saturday is a full day of events with mud volleyball and more 4-H action. The kids’ pedal pull has been moved to Saturday at 1 p.m. this year.
Back for its second year will be the FFA Rib Fest. Also returning this year is Donkey Polo! This is limited to eight teams and will be double elimination.
Double S Bull Company is again bringing Extreme Bull Riding, plus barrel racing and mutton bustin’. Kancho will close out the night in the beer garden.
Sunday’s Program Includes Cornhole
New at the Pierce County Fair this year will be a corn hole tournament in the beer garden.
The evening’s entertainment will include the second night of Double S Extreme Bull Riding, plus junior bulls, junior ponies barrel racing and mutton bustin’.
More to Enjoy
Abeer garden will be on the grounds for all the events again this year, so no coolers will be allowed.
Real Reptiles of Norfolk will be on the grounds Friday through Sunday, and Colors Da Clown will be there with balloons and face painting for the kids Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Pierce American Legion Post 72 will hold bingo in the Pavilion each day.
