PLAINVIEW — A report from Pierce County Attorney Ted M. Lohrberg states that, at approximately 10 a.m. on Aug. 16, the Pierce County 911 re ceived a call reporting a person passed out in a fermenting tank at the Husker Ag ethanol production facility east of Plainview. Plainview Fire and Rescue and Pierce County Sheriff's Office were dispatched.
Upon arrival, attempts to resuscitate the victim were unsuccessful. Randall McElroy, 31, of Cushing, OK, was pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy has been ordered by the Pierce County Attorney and the matter remains under investigation at this time.
