OSMOND — Classes are under way for the 2025-26 year at Osmond Community School and St. Mary’s School. Enrollment stands at 221, 12 more than last year’s 209.
Community School
There are 186 students in the 13 grades at Osmond Community School. This is an increase of 6 from last year’s 180.
The number of students in kinder- garten through sixth grade is 97, one less than last year’s 98. Junior high enrollment stands at 35, 11 more than last year’s 24.
Senior high — grades nine through 12 — has an enrollment total of 54 which is two less than last year’s 56.
The largest individual elementary class number this year is kindergarten, which has 17. The largest grade in the junior high is the seventh grade, which has 21 students. That is also the largest class in all grades. The largest grade in the high school is the junior class, with 16.

Staffing at St. Mary's this year are Cindy Beacom, head teacher and grades one and two; Rebecca Geneski, grades three and four; Makenzie Vargas, grades five and six; Robin Cheney, grades seven and eight; Riley Vinson, kindergarten and preschool, and the pastor, Father Kevin Vogel, who instructs in all grades.
Immanuel Lutheran
Rounding out the numbers are those at Immanuel Lutheran which offers two sections of preschool. The total enrollment is eight, six less than last year. Enrolled are five four-year-olds and three three-year-olds. The instructor for both sections is Julie Slagle.
