OSMOND — The Osmond High School volleyball team begins the 2025 season next week with a jambo ree triangular in Wausa on Monday, Aug. 25, and a game in Osmond against Wynot on Thursday, Aug. 28.
There are seven returning letter winners on the team this year: seniors ErinAschoff, Piper Hoffman, Carriana Kumm and Kaleigh Miller, juniors Alexa Aschoff and Klaire Johnson, and sophomore Korrine Moes.
Paige Kumm is the head coach.
Assistant coaches this year are Ashley Koehler and Candice Gansebom.
“The girls have adjusted well to two new coaches and are building relationships with us quickly,” said Coach Kumm. “Coach Koehler has worked with these girls for a while now and I’m so grateful for her knowledge and insight of what certain players’ strengths and weaknesses are! We are anxious to see where the varsity can take us this year with so many letter winners returning! Many of the girls, including a good amount of freshmen, put in lots of work over the summer from weights to camps to other sporting activities, which has allowed them to better themselves as overall athletes as well as learning how to step up and lead their team on and off the court. We are excited to kick off the season with a jamboree in Wausa this upcoming Monday, Aug. 25.”
