NEW YEAR, NEW PLAYGROUND — St. Mary's Catholic School playground recently got a facelift. The sandbox was repaired and has fresh sand. The students also got some new equipment. There is a playground play set with two slides, two spring riders — one is a bee and the other is a crocodile. They also got two sit and spin spinners. St. Mary's staff said, “We owe so much gratitude to Jim Peschel and his whole family. The money was all donated in memory of Frank and Mary Ann Peschel. We had several volunteers help with many different things in putting it all together and getting it set up and secured.” St. Mary's students enjoyed the new
equipment on their first day back to school this year.
