OSMOND — One more budget hearing is planned in the county. The Osmond Community School budget hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room.
For its 2025-26 fiscal needs, Osmond School District 42R has a disburse ment and transfer total of $8,018,980. Last year, the number was $7,324,215.
The total personal and real property tax requirement for non-bond funds is $3,566,825.00. Of that amount, $3,436,916.00 is in the general fund with $25,253.00 in the special building fund and $104,656.00 in the qualified capital purpose undertaking fund.
Last year the total was $3,411,838.00, with $3,242,374.00 in the general fund, $76,535.00 in the special building fund and $92,929.00 in the qualified capital purpose undertaking fund.
The District 42R Board of Education will meet to hear support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to the budget, and to consider amendments related to it.
