(Coach Kerri Conn) The Osmond High School cross country team participated in two meets recently: the Norfolk Catholic invitational on Sept. 12 and the Neligh-Oakdale meet on Sept. 15.
Norfolk Catholic Invitational The competition was tough at this meet, as the Osmond Tigers were one of the smallest schools competing. The boys ran some of their best times, which is a great thing to do at this meet.
Times were: Mason True, 19:56; Jack Berg, 21:01; Donovan Heiman, 22:32; Trenton Wiseley, 22:59; Deanna Kumm, 30:10.
Neligh-Oakdale Invitational After competing on Friday, Sept. 12, the Tigers had a fast turn-around and ran again on Monday, Sept. 15. Again, most of the boys improved their times.
We finished with two medalists: Mason True, ninth place in 19:50, and Jack Berg, 14th place in 20:01.
Also completing were Donovan Heiman, 22:01; Trenton Wiseley, 23:47; Deanna Kumm, 33:18.
