Snickerdoodles
1 C shortening (½ lard, ½ butter)
1½ C sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar ¼ tsp. salt
2¾ C flour
1 tsp. soda Cinnamon and sugar mixture Mix all ingredients together except cinnamon-sugar mixture. Shape dough into balls and roll into cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at
