The Osmond Tiger cross country team has had some challenging meets the last several meets — running against some stiff competition, running on new courses, running in the heat when the weather should be cooling down, and against swarms of bugs.
Crofton Invite The Crofton invitational on Thursday, Sept. 25, was held on a new course at the Weigand Recreation Area. The runners competed well against some great competitors, all running their best times of the season.
Times were as follows: Mason True, 19:30 Jack Berg, 19:34 Donovan Heiman, 21:10 Trenton Wiseley, 22:35 Deanna Kumm, 32:05 Stanton Invitational On Thursday, Oct. 2, the Tiger runners competed at the Stanton invitational, again running against some stiff competition. Mason True finished in 12th place with a time of 19:08.
Other runners and their times: Jack Berg, 20:24 Donovan Heiman, 22:21 Trenton Wiseley, 22:48 Conference Meet On Friday, Oct. 10, the Tiger cross country team competed in the Duane Wilken Invitational/Lewis and Clark Conference meet at the Rolling Hills Country Club.
Mason True placed 11th in the Duane Wilken Invitational, running a time of 19:03.
