SEWARD - On Monday, Oct. 13, Dawson Gansebom participated in the Piano Day at Concordia Univer sity in Seward. The event welcomed 24 participants and featured three engaging master classes where clinicians offered personalized feedback and shared valuable tips to “practice harder, not smarter."
Students also explored the Spirio piano, learned about music from Argentina, and gained new performance techniques. The day concluded with a beautiful recital featuring performances by the clinicians themselves.
Dawson performed "Pachelbel's Canon," representing Osmond with
great pride, said OHS music director Christalin Ginn. Dawson is a sopho more at Osmond High School and the son of Shawn and Jennifer Gansebom.
Ginn commented, “I was just so excited that he found this event on his own and made a point to put it on his schedule. Dawson is talented, and it is great to see him continue to explore ways to become a better musician each year. He doesn’t settle for mediocre.
Great job, Dawson!"
