Osmond Community School receives donated hats, gloves from DKG Nu Chapter

OSMOND — Members of the Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma recently donated hats, gloves, and mittens to area schools. The items will be used by elementary students who may need them this winter. Representing Nu Chapter are Osmond members Jenny von Rentzell and Beth Manzer.

The purpose of Delta Kappa Gamma is to unite women educators in fellowship, promote their personal and professional growth, and advance the status of women in education. The organization provides scholarships, supports legislation, and encourages members to engage in community action.

Membership requirements include being a woman who is an active or retired professional educator, or a student in an education program--this includes teachers, librarians, professors, administrators, and educational specialists.
