OSMOND — Osmond American Legion Post 326 and its Auxiliary, the VFW and the Sons of the American Legion came together on Wednesday, Oct. 15, for a grab-and-go drive-through meal at the site of what will soon be their new home. Osmond’s military service groups have decided to purchase the former Ashburn Funeral Home building, and it was at that location that they came together to bring a tasty meal for the community. It was all hands on deck as the veterans were on hand to greet those arriving for their meal. There were people taking orders, people grilling up burgers and hot dogs, people filling paper sacks with the meals, and people distributing the orders. They worked together like a well-oiled machine and had a great turn-out. Donations will go toward the costs associated with the purchase of the building.
