Nichole Aitken, RN receives 2025 OGH Caring Kind Award

OSMOND — For more than 40 years, the Nebraska Hospital Asso ciation has been honored to bestow awards to Nebraska health care employees that have risen to the top by providing service excellence and dedication to their profession. These award recipients commit themselves to the betterment of their hospitals and health systems, their customers, their coworkers and their communities.

Each year, Osmond General Hospital selects one of its members who exemplifies the values mentioned above to receive this prestigious award. Nichole Aitken, RN, joined the OGH team in April of 2012 as a nurse at the Wausa Medical Clinic.

Nichole’s exceptional dedication to patient care and outstanding contributions to the team have been consistently impressive. She embodies the highest standards of profes- sionalism, kindness, and compassion in the healthcare field. Every day,

cal knowledge and excellent clinical skills in practice and consistently ac -

curately assesses patient conditions,

proficiently perform procedures, and efficiently manages complex patient

cases. On Friday, Oct. 24, Nichole, along with award winners from all across Nebraska, attended a special lunch during the annual Nebraska Hospital Association convention where she received her award.

Hospital CEO Lon Knievel commented, “Congratulations Nichole, you earned this!”
