OSMOND — Keri Schultze, president of Osmond Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary to Post 7838, has received word that Carter Gansebom is again a winner in the auxiliary’s patriotic coloring contest, this time at the state level.
Carter's first-place picture, won in the local contest in the fall of 2024, had been sent on for further judging. The pictures were judged at state level in the spring, and announced at the VFW Auxiliary summer convention. The local auxiliary received word in October.
Carter received second place at the state level, and was awarded a certificate and cash prize.
