RANDOLPH — The 2025 Lewis & Clark Conference choral clinic and concert was held in Randolph on Monday, Nov. 3. There were 12 schools in attendance at the clinic, in- cluding Allen, Bloomfield, Creighton, Emerson-Hubbard, Homer, Osmond, Randolph, Walthill, Wausa, Winnebago, Winside and Wynot.

Attending from Osmond were Deanna Kumm, Clara Steinkraus, Jack Berg, Donovan Heiman, Kaleigh Miller, Carriana Kumm, Korrine Moes, Ashlyn Spangler, Katarina Miller, Evynn Kumm, Kenley Friedrich, Adyson Poelot, Siris Stanton and Addison Miller.

The concert program included the songs “America The Beautiful,” “Time After Time,” “Battle Hymn Of The Republic” and “He Never Failed Me Yet,” by the mixed choir; “Keep Your Lamps!” by the treble choir; “What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor” by the bass choir, and “Jericho” by the honor choir.

Chosen for the conference honor choir were Kaleigh Miller and Korrine Moes, alto; Donovan Heiman, tenor, and Jack Berg and Caleb Vinson, bass.

Osmond music director Christalin Ginn commented, “It was a good day. I loved that their clinician, Ben Rickert, encouraged them to set a goal at the beginning of the day. It was supposed to be a small goal to make themselves better individually. Every day, we should try to pick a goal, even if it is as small as focusing on the positives rather than the negatives. The Osmond students rose to the challenge, and I watched them each grow and learn during the day.”
