LINCOLN — Abigail Brown, 19 and a senior at Osmond Community School, and her cousin Jessica Dawe, 19 of Burwell, ran in THE GOOD LIFE HALFSY. It is a half marathon that is run yearly in Lincoln. The distance was 13.1 miles.
There were more than 9,000 people there. Abi finished with a time of 2 hours, 36 minutes and 46 seconds. Her pace was 11 minutes, 57 seconds per mile. She placed 5,423rd.
Out of all the women attending, she placed 2,709th, and out of her age range of 15 to 19-year-olds, she placed 278th.
