Giving Thanks for the Heart of Osmond Community Schools

As we approach Thanksgiving, Osmond Community School would like to take a moment to express our deep appreciation for a group of individuals who truly keep our school running strong every single day — our dedicated classified and support staff.

These men and women are often the first to arrive and the last to leave.

Their hard work, care, and love for our students and community are evident in every part of our school.

Visitors often comment on how clean and well-kept our building and grounds are - a direct reflection of the pride our custodial and maintenance staff take in their work. They ensure our students have a safe, welcoming, and beautiful place to learn each day.

Our kitchen staff provide nutritious meals that our students genuinely enjoy. Their hard work and dedication have led to noticeable improvements that are appreciated by both students and staff.

They have expanded the menu, their salad bar is outstanding, and if students go away hungry it’s their own fault. It's not just about serving food — it’s about serving smiles, comfort, and care. Their efforts and care feed both body and spirit, and our students notice.

Our paraeducators work tirelessly alongside teachers, giving students the individual support they need to grow and succeed. Their compassion, patience, and willingness to daily go above and beyond make a real dif-

ference in our classrooms. Simply put, it would be extremely difficult to

achieve our level of success without

them.

Behind the scenes, our office staff are the welcoming faces and steady hands that keep our district running smoothly. They greet visitors with kindness, assist administration in countless ways, and, in many respects, run the school from day to day.

Their positive attitude, professionalism, and attention to detail ensure that everything functions efficiently and that students, staff, and families feel supported.

Our bus drivers, mechanics, and transportation personnel make sure our students arrive safely to school and activities — often in the early mornings, late evenings, and through all kinds of weather. Their reliability and care ensure that every student can participate fully in school life.

We are also grateful for our school nurse, who visits weekly to care for student health needs, provide guidance to staff, and ensure that our students are safe, healthy, and ready to learn. Her expertise and compassion bring comfort and reassurance to both s tudents and families.

It is truly an honor and a privilege to work alongside these outstanding individuals who consistently go above and beyond for our students and our district.

Their dedication, pride, and commitment often go unnoticed, but it is noticed by those of us who see the countless ways they make a difference every day. I personally am grateful for each and every one of you!

Every department, every person, plays a vital role in making Osmond Community School the outstanding place it is. Their teamwork, integrity, and love for our students define who we are as a district and as a community.

This Thanksgiving, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our wonderful classified and support staff.

Your hard work, kindness, and devotion make Osmond Community School more than just a school — you make it a family .
