Public invited to hear more on December 1
(By The Fund Advisory Committee) The Osmond Community Fund is pleased to announce an unrestricted endowment has been created to support Osmond, both now and in the future. The Dr. David and Lelia Johnson Family Community Challenge will help quickly grow this forever fund with $100,000 of matching Funds from Dr. Johnson and $50,000 from the Nebraska Community Foundation.
The Osmond Community Fund has made a commitment to raise $300,000 to match the gift 2 to 1. With the charitable gifts of several cornerstone donors and your generous gifts, we plan to reach our initial $450,000 fundraising goal by Dec. 31, 2027. Everyone who loves Osmond can be a part of this vision and dream for our future whether you are donating $50,000 or $15.
The entire amount fundraised will provide endowment payout for future projects in the community. The Osmond Community Fund feels strongly that by investing in the people of our community, Osmond can and will be stronger today, tomorrow and for generations to come!
We have made excellent progress toward our goal thus far and warmly invite every Osmond resident to learn how to participate in the growth and the rewards of this important endowment on Monday, Dec. 1, at 10:30 a.m. at the Osmond Senior Citizens Center or 6:30 p.m. at Main Street Alley. Please join us for cookies and refreshments!
The Fund Advisory Committee (FAC) includes Clark Gansebom, Aaron Gutz, Roger Tacey, Terrie Kumm, Doc Johnson, Linda Krohn, Kelly Hodson and Leah Orr.
