I know it’s been a little while since I shared an Osmond veteran’s story, but I promise, things are in the works! I have some research gathered, but on one story that is already written, I’m waiting to see if a person I contacted can find a picture. With several others, I still need to reach out to a few people to find pictures. But they are coming, I promise I enjoy writing them as much as you enjoy reading them.
One reason it’s taking a while is that it is just that time of year — Christmas is coming! That means a lot of events to cover, Santa Day being one of my favorites, and the upcoming Christmas Wishes being another.
It also means working on our community calendar. It takes time to gather the information from all the organizations, and confirm business listings and birthdays, not to mention the time it will take to assemble once it is printed.
And last but definitely not least - the Christmas issue is coming up! I'll soon begin contacting businesses who will be sharing their Christmas greetings with you, but I’ve already started receiving Santa letters.
I love Santa letter! It’s always interesting to see what is “in” as far as toys and the latest cell phones, tablets, iPads, etc. And the letters from the little ones are both sweet and hilarious! I can’t wait to read them all and share them with you!
