Tigers vs. Spartans
OSMOND — The Lady Tigers were back on the court on Tuesday, Dec. 16, when they faced the Boyd County Spartans. Foul trouble early in the game forced the Tigers into an offensive struggle throughout the first quarter and into the second quarter as they were only able to net 9 points in the first half, whereas Boyd County had dropped 25 points in the half, including a buzzer beater going into the halftime break.
The second half played out very evenly as both teams scored double digits in the third and fourth quarters. However, Boyd County’s early lead was too much for Osmond to overcome. The Spartans came out victorious by a final score of 50-31.
Kaleigh Miller had a standout game as she finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks to lead the Tigers. Carrie Kumm grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds in the contest.
