(By Coach Matthew Chambers) The Plainview-Osmond girls’wrestling team traveled to Elgin on Friday, Dec. 19. This tournament was another step up in competition.
It was good to see the way the girls came out and wrestled. Many of the things they have been working on in practice have started showing up in matches.
There are some things we learned from this tournament going forward to continue to improve, but getting third as a team in a big field shows how all the girls, not just the place winners, are getting some points to help the team. As a team we have built some good momentum going into the break.
