“The girls started out timid, but we were able to pick up our defense and put a lot of pressure on Stanton’s ball handlers which led to several steals and fast breaks giving us the advantage. The girls played excellent team ball. Their help defense was strong, allowing our guards to take chances for steals.

We are still working on confidence in our offensive game, but that will come with more experience.” reports Coach Mary Dougherty. The team is coached by Lyn Stec and Dave Dougherty as well.
