(By Coach Nathan Vinson) WINSIDE — The Osmond Tiger wrestling team competed at Winside with a return of all the team wrestling. Leading the team, Kaleb Gardner and Caleb Vinson both received second-place medals, along with Mason True and Tate Stolpe both receiving fourth place.
Overall we were very impressed with how the boys came back for the second half of the season, starting with a full month in January with multiple tournaments.
We are heading into districts in February, very proud of how they battled at Winside and can’t wait to see what things they will accomplish the rest of the season.
Individual Results 138 — Hayden Schreiner (2-13) place is unknown. Hayden lost by fall to Kolby Nash (Weeping Water) 22-5 (Fall 0:51), received a bye, lost by fall to Richard Swick (Ponca) 9-16(Fall 3:54) 138 — Mason True (11-9) placed fourth and scored 12.5 team points.
