PIERCE - Pierce County Sheriff Rick Eberhardt has reported that, on Friday, Jan. 9, at approximately 9:15 p.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred approximately two miles east of Pierce on Highway 98. A vehicle driven by 46-year-old Marco Antonio Ordonez
crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by 68-year-old Ronald Woslager. Marco was pronounced deceased at the scene. Ronald and his wife, 66-year-old Jean Woslager, were taken to Faith Regional Hospital. Ronald died of his injuries there. Jean was later transferred to a hospital in Omaha.
Pierce Fire and Rescue and Hadar Fire and Rescue responded to the scene. Pierce County Sheriff's Office, Pierce Police Department, and the Nebraska State Patrol are investigating the accident.
