Caleb Vinson in action at Battle Creek

(By Coach Nathan Vinson)

BATTLE CREEK — This past weekend, the Tigers competed at Battle Creek, where these men earned their medals through hard work and grit, with Kaleb Gardner and Caleb Vinson leading the way.

Gardner receiving a third-place medal after a hard-fought loss in semifinals but fought back to receive a third place for the day, while Caleb Vinson battled through injury to re- ceive a fifth place medal.

Even though the other boys did not receive a medal, they battled through injury and won some and lost some. Overall the sportsmanship was fantastic and I was very impressed with them and can’t wait to see what the boys achieve this week with conference duals on Thursday and the Neligh-Oakdale invite Saturday!
