LINCOLN, Neb. (Feb. 6, 2026) – In the third year of the television concert series, an all-new Omaha Symphony performance brings the music of a famed Russian composer to Nebraskans, tracing a powerful journey from darkness to light.
“Omaha Symphony in Concert: Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5” premieres Saturday, Feb. 14, at 9 p.m. CT on Nebraska Public Media. Renowned conductor JoAnn Falletta makes her Omaha debut at the podium in the dramatic and deeply emotional concert.

“Omaha Symphony in Concert: Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5” repeats on Nebraska Public Media Thursday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. CT and Sunday, Feb. 22, at 9:30 p.m. CT.
