Locals named to the deans’ list for fall 2025

LINCOLN — More than 7,000 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the deans’ list for the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Qualification for the deans' list varies among the eight undergraduate col leges and the Explore Center. Listed below are the minimum requirements for each entity and the name of its respective dean or director. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours.

College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, 3.75; Interim Dean Thomas Burkey.

College of Arts and Sciences, 3.7; Interim Dean Patrick Dussault. College of Education and Human Sciences, 3.75; Dean Jeff Reese. Following is a list of Osmond honorees with their year in school, college(s) and major(s).

Sophia Gansebom, sophomore, College of Education and Human Sciences, child, youth and family studies. Sophia is a 2025 graduate of Osmond High School and the daughter of Pat and Robbie Gansebom.

Cali Gutz, junior, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, agribusiness. Cali graduated from OHS with the Class of 2023. She is the daughter of Marv and Melanie Gutz.

Anna Kahny, junior, College of Arts and Sciences, psychology. Anna is a 2024 graduate of OHS, and the daughter of Dwight and Donna Kahny.

Kaden Polt, senior, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, fisheries and wildlife. Kaden is the son of Kurt and Sarah Polt, and a 2022 OHS graduate.
