PIERCE — The last date for Pierce County residents to renew driver licenses at the Pierce County Courthouse will be Tuesday, Feb. 10.
A new Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driver’s license service center, located at 2209 N. 13th Street in Norfolk, is scheduled to open on Thursday, Feb. 19.
After Feb. 10, driver licensing services will no longer be provided at the Pierce County Courthouse. Madison County, Stanton County, and Colfax County residents are also affected by the move to the new DMV facility.
The suspension of DMV services until Thursday, Feb. 19, is to allow time for the move to the new facility.
