Plainview-Osmond girls gain great experience at state

(By Coach Matthew Chambers) OMAHA — Five Plainview-Osmond girls’ wrestlers traveled to the state tournament in Omaha on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 17 and 18.

This was a great learning experience for five girls that have not been to the state tournament. Getting a taste of this tournament will motivate these girls and the rest of the team to get there next year.

Although we did not have any medalists, we were competitive in the matches, and this experience, along with the season as a whole, built a great foundation for these girls to build off.

Hopefully the team can use this experience as a springboard during the offseason and into next season.
