First filing deadline past; non-incumbents have until March 2

OSMOND - With the first filing deadline for political office now past, several more candidates have filed for office. The last date for incumbent fil ings for the Primary Election, whether for the same office or a different one, was Feb. 17.

All three incumbents — Justin Koehler, Tiffany Rice and Tyler Gan- sebom - have filed for reelection to the Osmond school board. For city council, Neil Wattier has filed for reelection. Dan Timmerman has decided not to run for reelection, citing his age and stating that eight years is long enough. He also commented that there are plenty of younger people in Osmond who would make great candidates.

For non-incumbents, the deadline is March 2. The last day for incumbents to file for the General Election is July 15; for new filers, the date is Aug. 3.
